On September 15, 2025, Sincode Group, in collaboration with WAGAS, successfully held the launch ceremony for the "City of Light Cameroon" smart city construction project under the theme "Accelerating Africa’s Sovereign Future." The event systematically outlined the Group’s cooperation direction, development vision, comprehensive model, and core strategy for the African continent.
In today’s deeply evolving global economic landscape, Africa is embracing unprecedented development opportunities. As a multidisciplinary transnational development force, Sincode Group and WAGAS are committed to promoting genuine economic sovereignty and sustainable development in Africa through technological innovation, systemic design, and strategic investment. By integrating energy, infrastructure, digital technology, and deep tech innovation, we have built a "circular, scalable, and sovereign" comprehensive development model aimed at transforming Africa from a resource-exporting continent into a hub of value creation.
Africa possesses tremendous development potential, yet sustainable economic autonomy and wealth retention must be achieved through locally-driven solutions. Sincode Group is committed to collaborating with Africa to build the defining systems of the next century—including smart cities, resilient industries, clean energy networks, and sovereign technology ecosystems.
WAGAS Group spokesperson Jonathan articulated the company's vision at the meeting: to achieve economic sovereignty through technology and systemic design, enabling Africa to control its own destiny, retain local wealth, and build the foundational systems for the next century—forging a robust and self-sustaining circular economy from within.
Jonathan, integrating Sincode’s cooperation strategy, proposed a unique ecosystem model centered on the core principles of value retention, resilience, and sustainable development. This model empowers five key components to reinforce one another—enhancement of local value chains, clean energy systems, affordable housing and educational infrastructure, smart cities (NovAscend Platform), and deep tech campuses—forming a closed-loop growth system.
The meeting addressed real-time data collection and simulation, emphasizing the deployment of digital twin systems across all major projects. These systems are designed to predict potential issues such as energy stress and supply chain delays, thereby enhancing the intelligence level of urban governance.
At the conclusion of the meeting, attendees shared perspectives on future China-Africa cooperation and introduced a sovereign-backed, technology-driven, and stable investment model. They extended a welcome to global partners to jointly advance Africa’s sovereign development.
Sincode Group is accelerating Africa’s journey toward economic sovereignty through relentless innovation, robust infrastructure, and strategic investment. What we are building together is not just infrastructure—but a sovereign, prosperous, and confident Africa.
